It's been a while since I've drawn, thus the body isn't well portioned
I have a fond in boys dressed in proper uniform. They send me weak to my knees, and ultimately, I'm just a softy when it comes to it.
This picture is inspired by a group of boys I saw in Milsons Point when I was having my almuerzo at a local food-court. Although it's their daily attire, I couldn't help but notice how neat and fashionable they appeared. My (boy) friends commented saying it looks "weird wearing shorts". But I think that's it! The blazer, v-neck jumper, leather shoes, and unbelievably combed hair do co-operate with each other well, aesthetically; yet, the knee length shorts and high end socks are the pinnacle of the attire in my opinion. It's what sets the image of a high-class school boy in immediate perfection.
I may perhaps be in thorough detail with the whole uniform appearance, but I did set aside a long moment to admire something like this, which is scarce to find in the part of Sydney that I live. In my area, pants reach the end of their bottom, ties are always loose, and jumpers are far bigger than needed. I don't want to complain, but honestly, where have these cleanly dressed gentlemen gone to? It says so much about their personal grooming.
Welcome to my world
¡Bienvenido a mi mundo!
In essence, this serves as a mere medium to illustrate the world that exists in my own head, through words and pictures that I fail to properly express in reality.
The name is Carmel. As the subject noun, a complementary adjective would be complex, and the verb that best follows is create. "Carmel is a complex being who loves to create things". Easy.

Great drawing! never knew you were the artistic kind (in the art department). You also forgot to mention the hair of some such as the mullet LOL
ReplyDeleteThat outfit reminds me of those olden day mail boy :P
Hear hear! I totally know what you mean; where have the gentlemen gone? I absolutely adore the high-class look seen though neat, modest clothes and clean sleek hair... I get clothes rage when I see boys wearing "cool" clothing (i.e. pants which show their panties and shirts which show their unattractive chest). ARGH. You've completely said everything.
